Markus Luczak-Rösch works as a lecturer and research associate in the networked information systems workgroup at the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin). He holds a diploma in computer science from the FU Berlin as well. After finishing his diploma thesis titled "Design and Implementation of a Wiki-based Tool for Collaborative Ontology Engineering" and the final exams in October 2007 he worked as the responsible engineer for the IT-based knowledge management systems of the German non-governmental organisation Deutsches Studentenwerk e.V. (umbrella organisation of the Studentenwerke). At the beginning of 2008 he started his currently running research activities with focus on ontology evolution, ontology versioning and ontology lifecycle management.
Beyond that, Markus Luczak-Rösch is managing director and shareholder of the lumano intelligent systems GbR. The company is a full-service provider in the field of IT innovations management.
